Broadleaf House sits in 3 acres of grounds. The property is surrounded by open countryside and is located within 250 acres of ancient broadleaf wood known locally as The Old Wood

The Old Wood is the perfect place to stay, peaceful but close to the busy village of Skellingthorpe, with great walking and cycling right on your doorstep.

Broadleaf House sleeps up to 8 people (maximum 6 adults). The Master bedroom with en-suite has a King size bed, with a sofa day bed and trundle to sleep 2 children. There are a further 2 bedrooms, which can be used either for Super Kings or Twin beds.

There is masses of living space, a fully appointed luxury kitchen/breakfast/dining room, lounge with two great big comfy leather sofas and a log burner, snug/TV room/play room and fantastic, bright garden room - perfect for a chilled out breakfast!


 Broadleaf House is furnished to the highest standards with an extensive list of facilities including:

    • washing machine & dryer

Broadleaf House is located within The Old Wood, 250 acres of ancient broadleaf woodland, perfect for exploring on foot, on two wheels, with children or without. The Old Wood is rich with wildlife including birds, deer and insects as well as a diverse range of plants & trees.

National Cycle Network Route 1 runs alongside The Old Wood & through Skellingthorpe, making us the perfect base for exploring near & far. A network of footpaths can take you further into the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside.

Skellingthorpe is a busy village with a range of amenities including two good pubs, a supermarket, church, doctors surgery and fantastic children’s play park. With everything close at hand you might just want to stay and relax but if you wish to discover the surrounding areas the village is uniquely served by excellent transport links, local buses, the National Cycle Network Route 1 and you’re just 5 minutes drive from the A46, Lincoln is 6 miles away & Newark is a 15 mile drive.
